Skinny dipping

Why do they call it skinny dipping?

Because the practice is as rare as an actual skinny person? :D

The term originated in the first half of the 20th century from skin (skinny) and taking a dip (dipping)...thus only your skin going into the water, no clothing...

I must admit, it was a little naughty of me but I did enjoy taking a peek...AT GOOGLE, since that is where I found this info for you :P

Cheers! And remember, "Nightswimming deserves a quiet night" (Berry, Buck, Mills, Stipe 1992)
