What streams do the suckers run up?
 

To spawn. Just went to my favorite spot on Paige Brook, and it’s posted now. I need to find a new spot to catch a couple. It’s my Easter tradition!

West Alton Brook is also posted. Not sure about Poor Farm Brook above the Ellacoya state park.

I do remember as a kid, 1950's, wearing waders walking up small streams at night with flashlights and sucker spears. Not exactly sporting.

Thanks, I'll go have a look. Gigging and frying a few suckers is a spring tradition, they are a very under-appreciated fish.
