Voles Everywhere!!

Has anyone ever dealt with Voles before. At first I thought they were moles, but after observing them, and reading more about them and moles, i have confirmed they are Voles.
Looking for remedy to remove them, they are causing major plant and yard damage.

Thank you

Following because they ate half my potatoes and the best beets I ever grew last year

The voles are usually going after grubs or earthworms.
You can check to see if you have grubs by cutting out a section of sod and flipping it over.

You can purchase Bonide MoleMax Tan Cap or Tan corner flag on the label.

I have been reading that moles are carnivores and that voles are herbivores. They eat grass and plants and grown cover to make pathways and to feed. That is what I have been witnessing. Also Voles do not burrow

Don't know if I had moles or voles. I sprayed the lawn with Castor Oil and they left. Followed up with Grub X. Have not had a recurrence. Problem this year appears to be rabbits eating Impatiens. They seem to leave Salvia alone.

The MoleMax will handle both

For the Rabbits, they also make a product.
Repels-All.
But the smell is not the most pleasant and it needs reapplication, especially after the heavy rains we have.

They also have a Hot Pepper Wax that comes in a spray bottle.
It uses cayenne; but not sure what it is added to creating the "wax".

Bird Feeder Nearby?

Commonly available bird seed "mix" has tiny, but abundant, millet seed, which many birds scatter beneath the feeder.

(Making it readily available to mice and voles).

:look:
