Lake Winnipesaukee in the movie Click

My kids and wife went to see Click and apparently the Lake is mentioned in the movie as one of Adam Sandler's characteres fondest childhood memories

Sandler is a New Hampshire boy, and reportedly went to camp on the Lake. Not sure if that's true, but I've heard it more than once.

Yes, I was surprised to hear the Lake referred to in yet another movie and then be totally disappointed that it looked NOTHING like Winnipesaukee. Probably some small lake in California. At least it got some publicity anyway.

Sandler is from Manchester, his family has property on the Lake.

That portion was filmed at Shaver Lake, a small (about 3 sq-mi.) lake in California.

FYI: The Internet Movie Data Base says that Sandler grew up in Manchester.

Separately: I wonder what ever happened to "The Color of Water" which was filmed here in 2002. It was filmed at Castle in the Clouds and at Weirs Beach. Too bad it was shelved. It was never released.
