No gas at Silver Sands
 

Anyone know what is going on with the gas dock at Silver Sands?
Closed for the season sign has been at the gas dock building and little store for awhile.

it is very early to close for the season so I am curious. The Silver Sands Motel is open and the Silver Sands Marina is open but not the gas dock.

I enjoyed the competitive gas pricing between Silver Sands and Mountain View Yacht Club. What's up?

One of the guys at Fay's told me Silver Sands' gas station was being redone - new pumps, new lines, etc. He thought they'd be closed for the season.

Where do people go instead?
 

I used to get my morning coffee and snacks at the Silver Sands gas dock shop. They also took care of my pump out and gas too. So where is the closest place to go with similar facilities? The Weirs is a bit busier than Sanders Bay to get gas and go to the store. Where are former Silver Sands gas dock customers going?
