Telescoping ladder needed

Need some help.....

I have a telescoping 2-Step ladder, which mounts under my swim platform.
Unfortunately, 2-Steps is extremely difficult to get in and out of the boat.
Kids seem to manage OK, however if your an adult, you have to be very flexible and strong, to pull yourself up the ladder on to the swim platform.

Can someone recommend a boat part supply vendor who may sell
3 or 4-Step ladders ? Please keep in mind this is an "under-transom" mount.

FYI, I have looked at the big discount boat suppliers, but most don't carry
the "under-transom" mount design in their inventories.

Any information will be appreciated.
Thanks!

Check with the dealer

Bigdog,

I would suggest talking to the dealer. Chances are you are not the only one experiencing this problem and they my have direct replacement.....

Another handy thought to consider is that you may find the additional step --in some situations such as "stern in" at a sandbar or shoal area -- gives you unwanted length/depth. Keep a small bungy cord or short piece of poly line handy to tie the last two steps together (shorting the drop length).

Typicially a ladder fully extended is not much deeper than the sterndrive fully down -- a poor mans way of measuring if you have enough draft before lowering the sterndrive -- or if at a shoals area -- if the Ladder starts rattlin cuz of waves --> ALARM Bells !! The sterndrive (even though up) could be next
