Is the ice out on Lily Pond in Gilford yet?

Nope . . .
 

Just came back from Gilford, past Lily Pond, and it is still ice. There is water around the edges and the structures in the middle but the rest is still ice.

Any Lily Pond update?
 

Well, it's been 10 days since the last post. Any update on Lily Pond?

It was mostly ice on Tuesday. There was a strip of water under the airport runway lights and along the edges, but that was it. It has not been very warm or sunny since.

Just drove by a few minutes ago. I'd say its 2/3 open.

Any updates has to how the big lake is doing for ice??

drove by this morning at 8:30 was 3/4 or 2/3 ice out

We drove by tonight and with the wind we're supposed to get I bet Lily Ponds ice goes tomorrow.

No surprise, but as of this morning, it's wide open with a whitecaps.

does this mean that we can hold the two week theory to Lake Winni then? or does all this weather throw everything out the window?

Then that would suggest ice-out about the 26th.

The ice is out and the fish are biting down there. Bass too, though they are off the shore a little bit.

So that asks the question where are the top five fishing spots in Gilford, Gilmanton, and Alton???
