Horn requirements

If the built-in horn on your boat is broken, does one of those hand held air horns meet the requirement? I'm pretty sure it does but wanted confirmation.

Thanks!

Happy 4th!

The OEM horn on my boat was pathetic. I replaced it with a 126 dB "full blast" air horn this Spring. Wow, it's an attention grabber even though it's small.
