oil fired boiler

I have a 4 year old Boderus oil fired boiler with a power vent. I am looking for someone who is very familiar with them. I want to change the power vent and do some more fine tuning of the entire system. Can anyone recommend someone. Laconia area. Thanks:)

bobio, if worse comes to worse you may want to contact Buderus USA in Londonderry, NH, which is there US headquarters (German Company). My company does a lot of business with them. Which unit have you got?

Just a suggestion

Do you want to do away with the power vent.If you do,you will not be sorry.I eliminated mine 5 years ago and installed an insulated stainless chimney. No more noise and the chimney and oil smells are gone for good. These vents can create quite the negative pressure in your house if you don't have enough make-up(outside) air.I beleive newer models will bring outside air next the exhaust in the same pipe to offset some of the problems I was having.

CAll Laconia Oil

After various problems with Eastern Propane Service, I was fortunate enough to be introduced to the owner of Laconia Oil, a fine gentleman with many years of experience and knowledge. He was able to determine and resolve my furnace problems including issues with the original installation of the power vent. He will be the first one to suggest eliminating the power vent due to future problems and costly repairs. Thanks to him, my past furnace problems have been solved after fighting with a brand new furnace for 3 years. Good Luck!:liplick:
