Viewing all postings

Don,

I was curious if the new forum software has the ability to display all new posts in a single list, elminating the need to click into each forums to view the new posts.

Not a complaint - just trying to figure out the quickest way to get my fix!

Thanks,

Wolfeboro Matt

If you click on the New Posts link near the top of the page, (btw Calendar and Search) you'll get a listing of all the new posts across all the forums. You then click on a thread to read it and then on your browser's back button to get the list back. Repeat for each message/thread and you've got your "fix" I think.

Using New Post

I have been using New Post. When you finish reading a thread, use New Post again to return to the new post list(not brower backup) . You will notice that the read posts titles turn from bold pirnt to normal. This helps us old timers remembering what we read.
ALso, if you're in a thread and click on a higher post you can then scroll down and read the whole thread :coolsm:

Use Browser Back

Yes, clicking "New Posts" each time after reading a thread will work and update the flags, but I find that using the back button is much faster. :)
