Pictures and History of Islands
 

Hello,

I'm getting married in Wolfeboro this June and we have decided instead of table numbers, we're giving guest tables island names. So... I'm searching for pictures and information on some of the islands. Any suggestions where I can look? I did find some information on the Lake Winnipesaukee Historical society website... any other suggestions?

My hope is to have a little fact/history sheet with a faded picture of the island as the background at each table

You can find pictures, maps etc. of Bear Island at www.bearisland.org

I recommend putting the Bear Island table in a low traffic area.
