What a beautiful bunch of dogs they have.

Having had a family member run this race 3 times, I can tell you this is a grueling undertaking.

Mike Ellis and his team is in 13th place at the halfway point in Dawson City AK. The Ididarod gets lots more press.. but this race while 150mile shorter, has less than half of the checkpoints.
