Computer equipment recycle

Does anyone out there know where I can turn in a non working computer printer that I have replaced, that can be fixed and go to a school or another organization? The last time I replaced a printer I was able drop it off at a computer service in Meredith for rehab for use in a school or elsewhere, but they have changed hands and don't have that connection anymore.
The printer is an Epson Stylus C86 in the box with software and literature.

You can try Wincycle in Windsor, VT (right on the NH border about 20 minutes south of Lebanon.) They also sell cheap computers and parts, most of which they've refurbished from whatever condition they'd been in. Their website is www.wincycle.org.

There is also a computer recycling place in Portsmouth but I don't have any info on them.

Try Epson's website. Sometimes they will "buy back" equipment to recycle. Many computer companies are becoming more green and have recognized they can get revenue from recycling.

Ditto for your used printer cartridges. You may be able to get a few cents for those spent cartridges but that's better than tossing them in the dump!

Staples

Staples office store will give you $3.00 store credit for spent ink cartridges. You can also take CRT monitors there and they will recycle for $10 charge. In my case that is a better deal than $20 at the local landfill.

My company does electronic recycling, however we are located in Dover.

Many companies will take back older equipment also. Perhaps here?

Thanks

Thank you all for your suggestions. I found a company in downtown Laconia who accepted my non working printer to fix it up if possible and donate it to a school or others. It is Computer Magic, at 184 Beacon St. W in Laconia, phone 528-1828. Thanks again.
