Babysitters on the islands???
 

Does anyone in the Gilford area do babysitting on the islands at all? We used to have a girl that would come out to the islands and babysit while we went out to dinner on land but she has gone to college. We could pick up at Cattle Landing or other islands in the area.

Any help would please my wife greatly :D

On Facebook.com, there's a group called "Lake Winnipesaukee Lovers" which has over 1,000 members. Most of them seem to be teenagers who regularly come here, or whose families have places here. Many of them are island-dwellers themselves and they debate which island is the best. You could post something on the group's bulletin board.

You don't have to be a teenager to be on Facebook... most of my Facebook friends are 25-35, several are 40+, and even a couple of them are over 60.
