Trail map

Where can I get a trail map of the trails around Moultonborough, etc? I always stop at AJ's for bait and vehicle registration. Do they have them?

New 2008 NHSA Trail Map

I was able to obtain the below state trail map. They are hard to come by. I had a friend pick up 2 in Concord the other day. He asked for more but they would only give him 2. Price on the map is $3.00. The map is done very well and is easy to follow and new parts have been added since I was on them last year.:)

I got my map. I want to do a day ride on Saturday with my buddy. Breakfast at Village kitchen and then somewhere for lunch. Do the trails ever change from year to year? Just curious.

HomeWood,
Yes, some of the trails do change. Basically there is only one major trail closure that affects the Moultonboro Neck trails. That is the Swallow Point trail that connected to the Kona trail and Far Echo trails. If you go to this post below you will find a map of the section in question. It’s the 3dr post in.

Did you get a copy of the Moultonboro SMC map? There is a new 2009 State corridor map out. If you are in Tilton you can get one at the NHSA office.

Have you laid out the route you are going to take? As for Lunch a lot would depend on where you were heading. VK to Red Hill, on to Karnataka to Corridor 15 and across to the Castle, over to Tamworth, take Corridor 19 and stop at the Pizza Barn reverse and come home?

Yes, it's MSC map. I haven't mapped it out yet, but that route sounds like fun. I've never really gone far from the house, but this year we'd like to really go exploring. Thanks.

Gilford?

Are there any trails that connect Laconia to Gilford to Alton? Meredtih Sno-Streakers has a great interactive map comprised of area maps and I really can't see a connection through Gilford. Is there a way to go via trails from Meredith to Alton Bay?

hazelnut....

May I suggest getting the most up to date trail maps from the following clubs.

http://www.belknapsnowmobilers.com

http://www.mountmajorsnowmobileclub.com

http://www.belmontbogiebusters.org

These maps will get you to Alton and beyond. I kept a weather proof map bag on my sled at all times, bring them with you!
Happy sledding :)

I have to laugh at that NH trail map photo. There certainly are not any mountains in NH that look like that.:laugh:Looks more like the Canadian Rockies.
