Merideth Fireworks

Did anyone else go to the Merideth Fireworks and were disappointed? They were a lot shorter than last year, we were wondering if something happened to cut them short.

Meredith Fireworks

we attended the Meredith fireworks with great anticipation of another wonderful display. We were greatly disappointed. The past 2 years were absolutely incredible!! This year was plain bad!! Something must have happened to cut them short. Hopefully the town was not just being cheap!!

Center Harbor was better than last year

Last year, the fireworks at Center Harbor were short, and the bright lights on the basketball court were right in the line of sight. This year, the lights remained out, and the fireworks were great. The band concert was also a treat. Of course, some of more interesting displays occurred along the shore, with the private showings. Where do people get the good stuff these days? I miss the good 'ol days when you could buy bottle rockets in NH.

The Center Harbor fire works were so good because they used the money ($10) that they collected at the boat ramp from Meredith residents launching their boats to help in the cost. The reason the Meredith fireworks were short and lousy was because they don't charge Center harbor residents $10 each time they dump their trash in our dump.

I'll have to second the Wolfeboro fireworks, they always put on a good show, this year was no exception.
