Question on width of page

Question, Is there an adjustment that I can make to shorten the width of the page. For some reason my page is so wide that I have to keep using the scroll across bar to read most of the articles. The biggest thread is the one regarding the runway. Is it because of the over size pictures that have been posted or is it the way my system is set up?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If someone posts an overly wide picture, that will force the whole page to be wider, as you are seeing.
