Why Can't I See My Avatar Picture?

I just posted it and can see it on my profile page but not in the forum.

Does it take a day or two or is there an option I have to turn on for people to see it?

There is no avatar posted for "jkjoshuatree". Try again and be sure to save the changes. The new avatar will appear immediately if submitted correctly.

JK, the Profile page is not where the Avatar is. Instead, you need to go to the Control Panel. This is not obvious. But see the picture below. I've circled it and pointed an arrow at "User CP" -- the User Control Panel. If you click on that, you'll see the menu on the left side. One of the menu options is Edit Avatar. Try that.
