Winni launch Recommendations...

I will be camping up near the Wolfboro area of NH in a couple weeks and was wondering if anyone could help me with a good launch location on Winnipesaukee with parking either on site or close by. I own an 18 foot aluminum bass tracker. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks. I was thinking either Alton Public Docks, Downings Landing or the back bay launch in Wolfboro off railroad street. Right now I am leaning towards either the Wolfboro one or Alton Public. Any information would be great. I know the alton one has parking up the street. Was wondering where exactly and if I could drop trailer off and come back with my car and park it at the ramp. The Wolfboro one seems the more convenient to me as long as parking is ok, I shouldn't have a problem getting under the bridge to the main lake with the bass boat. Thanks to anyone who helps.

If you can make it under the bridge than I think it's a no-brainer - do Wolfeboro. Alton is a pretty good haul from there. Last time I was there Back Bay was also free.

I am pretty sure I can fit I know the height is fine just over 4 feet wont have any problem without even having to duck. As long as it's wider and 8 feet I won't have any problems. Appreciate your advice I was thinking this would be the best bet. Thanks

There is also a launch in front of the Libby right on the Wolfeboro/Tuftonboro line on Rt109. Usually no lines, no waiting. Plus no bridge to worry about

Not giving any advice here but ....do you need to park your trailer over night..? ...or longer..? This could be a BIG factor.

19 Mile Bay

Has a public ramp and plenty of parking.

Someone told me parking there is tough though, have to get there early and even then on a Saturday morning there isn't room due overnight parking of weekenders or summer summer camp residents. I will definetly keep it in mind though thanks so much for all the info so far everyone.

Your supposed to have a town sticker for the parking at 19 mile bay. Not sure how much they enforce it.

One only needs a sticker there for overnight parking.
