Urgent so we can get Driect TV installed - Tree Guy for Dow island

Anyone know of a tree guy to take down a tree for us on Dow Island? The tree is in the way of us getting our direct TV signal! We found that out last weekend when the installer came and could not get the signal! Nothing is easy out here!:rolleye1::eek::emb::rolleye2:

Is it within 50' of the lake? If so, you might want to whisper this request :)

Island Support Services arranged to take a tree down for us on Welch but they may not operate over your way. You could try and call Steve at 293-4357.

BTW, the compass heading and elevation of the satellites can be found on the net so you can do your own survey first; for example:

What is that you say? You have severe amillaria root rot combined with canker rot in your tree and you need to control these devasting diseases before it infects the whole island?

Tree removal recommendation

After a severe storm hit our side of Cow a few years ago, one of our neighbors had Bartlet Tree Service come to the island to remove a tree that had fallen on their camp.

Great Tree Guy

Try Timmy from Northern Woods. Does great work.

Dish Network

you may want to try Dish Network. Their satellite is in the southern sky and the tree that you need to take down may not be in the way of a different exposure. Certainly a lot cheaper than a tree service.

Chain saw

I own a chainsaw if you're not too particular about where it lands. TIMBER!!!

Like Joni Michell's song goes?
