Moving Supplies

Aside from U-Haul, whose prices I feel are on the gouging side, does anyone know where I can purchase moving boxes at a reasonable cost and quantity? I know the NH Liquor Store gives theirs away free, but I'm interested in the more sturdy uniform sized boxes. Thanks in advance.

I hate to break bad news to you, but U-Haul's pricing is actually cheap in comparison to other retailers. :eek2: Your best bet is to buy their bundle deals if you need a whole lot of boxes - it's a fairly substantial savings by the bundle. If I'm not mistaken, you can get them online and they'll ship to your house if you want. If you need the big closet-sized boxes, I believe they're the only people who sell those. Good luck! Let us know how you make out, and if you find a great deal somewhere!!!

The new self-storage on RT3/11 between Tilton and Laconia has a big sign advertising moving supplies. If you use Exit 20 to get to the lake, it's on your right after you cross the Winnisquam bridge, just before you get to the guy selling electric cars. Sorry I can't remember the name.

We use Rand Materials Handling Co. Their phone is 800-366-2300 or www.randmh.com They will ship quickly and the prices are good. Most product ships out of RI so it will get to you quickly and with little freight charge
Good Luck

Do some on-line shopping

Try places like http://www.gopackaging.com/ and compare prices for the size and type you are looking for.

There's a company I used for custom sized boxes that I can't recall right now that was super inexpensive (even after shipping costs). I'll try and locate the info for you so you can check them out.

Moving Boxes

I have purchased many standard size (22x14x12) boxes by the case (10) at Sam's, BJ's and Costco for much less than Uhaul or Mail Boxes or UPS Store.

Thank you Hermit Cover! I didn't realize these places sold boxes. I'll be checking this one out for certain.
