Donna Jean's

Donna Jean's sign says closed for vacation. Yet, the parking lot isn't plowed and I haven't seen her ads in the local newspapers lately.

Anyone know if they are 'on vacation' ?

I also would like to know if Donna Jeans in Weirs Beach is open for breakfast this winter.

I have called to see if they have a message on a machine but phone just rings. Time will tell.

Sign out front says "See you in the Spring"
Just goes to show how hard it is to make it in the winter.
Sure miss the Eggs Winnisquam.

The Eggs Winnisquam are very good. A bit pricey, but good. :fire:

A few winters ago we had several operations open, including: a sit-down restaurant, a general store, a quick mart with a gas station, Waldo-Peppers and Donna-Jeans. This year they are all closed. We do have Cumberland Farms up on the hill, but around "dis-function junction" it is very quiet this winter. :(

What with all the Happy Landing convenience, Karl's Fine Food, Waldo Pepper's, Texaco Gas selling a 100-million PowerBall, Dexter Shoes, Donna Jean's, and Guilbicki's Car Rescue: that was no Malfunction Junction. Maybe the state will put it all out of its' misery by building a roundabout, and paying out top dollar for Karl's and the Texaco property..............don't ya know:rolleye1:
