Water Quality Workshop

Contact: Erica Anderson, 279-8171<O:p</O:p Lake</ST1:p Winnipesaukee Water Quality Workshop <O:p A partnership of local organizations, communities and state agencies will meet on January 5, 1:00 pm to discuss water quality analyses for Meredith, Paugus and Sanders bays in <ST1:pLake Winnipesaukee</ST1:p and strategies to ensure they maintain and improve their current health. The three bays are included in Phase I of the Lake Winnipesaukee Watershed Management Plan (LWWMP), which includes the towns of Meredith, Gilford, and the city of <ST1:p<?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comhttp://www.winnipesaukee.com/forums/ /><st1:City w:st=</st1:City>Laconia. </ST1:pUltimately, we hope to replicate this process throughout the entire Winnipesaukee Watershed as a comprehensive watershed plan is developed.<O:p</O:p <O:p Please join us on January 5 at the <st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Meredith</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Community Center</st1:PlaceName> to learn more about the concepts being used to identify water quality trends and to promote best management practices that will help protect and preserve <ST1:place Lake Winnipesaukee for current and future generations. In the event of poor weather on January 5, the meeting will be postponed until January 7, 1 pm, Humiston Building 1st Floor Conference Room, <st1:Street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">103 Main Street</st1:address></st1:Street>, Meredith. <O:pAll are encouraged to attend.
