Laconia Police Facebook Page

On behalf of the Men and Women of the Laconia Police Department we would like to invite any member of the Winnipesaukee Forum to join us as "fans" of the LPD on Facebook. We hope that this page serves as yet another level of communication that allows us to serve our community in a larger capacity. We will continuously post information throughout the year regarding events, functions, police investigations, wanted people, etc to help keep our community better informed. Discussion forums will also be offered. We will also be posting pictures and videos of events such as Bike Week and other large gatherings in the region.

If the page is half as successfull and popular with residents as the Winnipesaukee Forum we will consider it a success! Thanks.

....hello Chief......welcome back to the Winni forum....& as a serious person with a responsible job....it's always good to have some 'real' people on this forum as opposed to all us local-losers who have nothing better to do...

.....got a small favor to ask....I was recently turned down by Waste Mgmt-New Hampton for their $14/h job as a cdl trash truck driver trainee, driving a trash route somewhere local, and maybe through Laconia.

I have all the NH cdl driver license qualifications, took their WM 35-question internet job interview, and got a reply wishing me "no & best success with your job search", so I never even got to talk to a real person over at Waste Management-New Hampton. I think I could handle the strenuous physical demands of the job......WM says it is not uncommon for new hires to lose 25-lbs in their first month.....could be my age of 58 was a no-go, job-killer.

I'm a Meredith resident who took the 3-month, tractor trailer, cdl driving course at Lakes Region Community College in Laconia, and definately need a job, just so's I can continue to pay my $8500/annual Meredith prop tax, plus it will most likely get me off this forum board and out onto the residential streets of Laconia, driving a WM trash route.

thanks, fll
