Where is Skip?

Always used to enjoy his posts, nothing since end of October though. Anyone know what happened to him?

Skip's still around. Probably busy with his regular job and volunteer work. Saw a post from him yesterday.

I should have mentioned, in another forum, sorry.

Yup, Skip is certainly one of my favorite posters on this forum. He always brings clear well thought out posts.

Like all of us from time to time he must drift away, as more important things in life come up....

Still alive & kickin....

Geesh, thanks for the kind words guys!

As some of you have guessed I have been pretty busy. Still toiling away at the government job. But about three years ago myself and another Deputy started a part time side business upfitting/building out police cruisers and emergency vehicles. We are in the process of taking on one or two lines of two-way radios as well. The first two years were slow, but the last year things have really taken off. So much so that I am now planning for a not too distant retirement and turning this venture full time.

We do some marine work here along the seacoast, and am considering maybe being available in the Lakes Region one or two days a week. We are a completely mobile operation will a full service/install shop on wheels.

Besides that I have been very busy, especially during the winter, in my role on the Executive Board of the New Hampshire Snowmobile Association. I never realized what a great group of people/volunteers exist within the ranks of the sledding community. tons of work but tons of fun as well.

I do keep in touch with our esteemed webmaster, and I have really enjoyed the give and take that goes on amongst the members here.

So for better (or worse) I am back, and hope to plunge right back in where I left off last fall.

Hello again everyone and above else, I hope you all have a safe, enjoyable and fun filled summer on New Hampshire's finest lake! :)

Believe me, it's for better. We should have more like you but I think you are one-of-a-kind. Glad to hear that you are doing well OM particularly with the general economic atmosphere.

I'm one of the many that have missed your wise, accurate and insightful contributions to the forum. Hope to see you on the Lake or QSO on-the-air. :)

Welcome back. 73,
