We use Ring for cameras (doorbells, solar cams and hard-wired cams). Ring can integrate other features/sensors in such as temp and water alerts, alarms, etc but we haven't gone beyond cameras.

Chances are the recovery cost will not be that bad and the town is insured. I doubt highly the state will charge a town fees for this.
