That's a riot! I grew up summering on Paugus Bay and that was always the story I heard about Opechee, so much so that we were so grossed out by it, we would refuse to go water skiiing at our friends...

It may be true that you can launch but cannot park ??? So for MOST - that would not be a good launch site - but for the campground I guess it makes sense. Still that launch is technically a TOWN...
