I agree the outlook is not good once the trees get infested. I am reading that trees can be effectively treated with dinotefuran if done before significant infestation.

Floating dock with cooler adrift near Cow

Early this AM what looked like a floating dock with a cooler was drifting south between Cow and Ragged. Given the wind direction it probably came from Long Island or Little Bear.

I just asked the folks at Anchor Marine about ethanol.....they say that as of 2009 its law that all marinas on the lake sell the 10% mixed fuel. No more ethanol free fuel.....bummer!
