The Ice is on the move
This was taken at dawn 4-19 from Big Pier at LSP lookihng toward Diamond and Rattlesnake. Last night this view was open water for about 3 football fields.
Looks like the ice is moving around alot...

Lunar Eclipse this saturday
Early risers will see a partial Lunar Eclipse over the lake at around 5.35am. Weather looks to be clear. I'll be out trying to get some pictures.

WMUR - Reported..
This morning,on the 5AM broadcast, WMUR reported that the summit on Mt. Washington is currently the 2nd coldest place on earth, just behind the South Pole. :eek:

Moose Tracks

We have moose tracks in the snow in the back of our property along the Gunstock River.
We saw the unusual very large tracks and looked them up online. Clearly...

Paul, I would bet these are the same pair I see from time to time that work the shore line from LSP to Smith Cove. I spotted one on Wednesday this week flying low and working the open water around...
