According to the Revenge web site/product information, that product is for sugar and grease ants... the common household ants.
They do make a #370 spray that is for carpenter ants and termites.
If your ants succumbed to the bait traps, maybe they weren't carpenter ants.
I don't mean to start an argument, but it seems as if the manufacturer would be aware of how their product performs best.
