I have taken the liberty of buying lobsters this year cheap, boil them, mix in some celery and mayo, and voila.....the best lobster rolls anywhere, and for less than half the cost of what you all are paying. I hope you all enjoy your rolls. I sure am.
A POUND OF LOBSTER MEAT, AND THE PRICE 9/10 BUCKS??!!
Are you OK?
I see the analogy you are trying to make, but unless you are grinding up a whole 1lb lobster (shells, guts, and all), your $5 a lb. is going to yield very very very little meat.
I think you came up with a good idea for a post, didn't think it thru, and... well, the result is not very good.
Lobster is cheaper now, to be sure. But a lb. of meat....gotta be 25/30 dollars.
