Loved that "Fair Food"!
I have fond memories of the Sandwich Fair food! The sausage and pepper grinder was always my favorite along with those french fries you sprinkled salt and vinegar on. I'd have (my first order of) fries just as soon as I got there...early notwithstanding! Of course there were always those people who wanted to remind you how unclean those vendors could be...I turned a deaf ear! I just chowed down, and I'm still here! Would love to be having some of it this year. I'm just not into that alligator on a stick you see here at fairs and festivals.
