Both Saturday and Sunday, there were waterskiers about.
The rest of the Ossipee range of mountains are appearing in peak colors but around Wolfeboro leaves are starting to fall. As of Tuesday, there is a narrow streak of bright-orange color, but only on the east side of Bald Knob.
Is it possible that a trail blazed through there became naturally, but thoroughly, re-seeded with just one species of tree?

Yesterday had weather to suit most everyone—at some time.
It started calm, cool and sunny, then windy and cloudy, then very windy and sunny, then a change to a lighter wind (and direction), then light rain (and warm sun).
Then a rainbow appeared over the water, whose entire length and height could be seen from our porch! Both ends were less than ¼-mile apart and the colors in the "red-scale" were especially intense—to include
magenta. Holy cow!
