Trfour, just because McDude chose this postcard photo as the basis for his Christmas card, doesn't mean that he is sending it as a postcard. He may be using this as the front to "real" card with a greeting inside. That is what I would do. It is a very nostalgic and acceptable statement using this old photo, in my opinion, not to mention that vintage postcards are McDude’s “thing.” This rare snow postcard is very special and represents him well. If you were to go out and take a Christmas photograph from the lakes region and turn it into a card, that would suit you perfectly as photos have been your “thing.”
I do agree that random pictures and postcards shouldn’t make their way into this thread and that is not what happened here.
