It is a very nostalgic and acceptable statement using this old photo, in my opinion, not to mention that vintage postcards are McDude’s “thing.” This rare snow postcard is very special and represents him well. If you were to go out and take a Christmas photograph from the lakes region and turn it into a card, that would suit you perfectly as photos have been your “thing.”
I do agree that random pictures and postcards shouldn’t make their way into this thread and that is not what happened here.

Thank you Rattlesnake Gal!......... Dates and times have been changed.
I come from a family of twelve, Mom and Dad and ten children.
Dad had a neat woodworking shop, Mom made all of the costumes and also many of our clothes for Church as well as school,..Plays, cheerleading for my sisters.
One time, when I was in the sixth grade, out in LA. CAL, Mom made me a football outfit. Guess what,..... We won!
As children, we did not go out and buy Christmas cards or presents for each other, we hand crafted, designed and made them.
In the Christmas spirit of this thread,.. again, Welcome and thank you all!
Let us move on.
