I Thank All Veterans from all branches for their service during times of war and in peace.
I thank my brother, a Navy Corpsman, for his service and for the many heroic actions he performed while in Viet Nam in saving the lives of the wounded. Many times above the call of duty.
For the Vets who suffer from PTSD for all that they have given in their service to our country. I have personally known and talked with the heroic men from Nam and the Gulf War. They deserve our gratitude for their sacrifice. Today there are more soldiers with PTSD from the Iraq and Afganistan wars that also deserve our gratitude for their sacrifice.
I see our vets from all of our wars and conflicts in the halls everytime I go to the Manchester, NH VA. I salute everyone of them.
For all of those that gave the ultimate sacrifice of their lives I salute you.
Without all of these brave soldiers and sailors we would not enjoy the freedoms we do today.
JS, USN OS3 1969-1975 Active and Reserves - USS Little Rock CLG4
