So, did Meredith purchase a new $750,000 aerial tower truck only to have it be damaged in the first week due to operator error? The most expensive fire truck in the world is useless without firefighters who know what they are doing, and are motivated to do it.

It's one thing to question budgets, it's another thing entirely to question the Meredith FD's motivation to do the job right. They save lives on a daily basis. Your contribution to society is what? You've gone from annoying to downright rude with that one sentence.
