Not sure I agree with your post. Perhaps the hours for fresh water boats in New England may be less, but my research would not lead me to their conclusion on pricing. With used boats, dealers have to compete with private sales and the age of the internet.
I'm looking for a used boat in the 20 footer range. Tens of thousands of dollars is not the scale I am dealing with. May $1k to $2k.
