If memory serves me correctly, Ron Piche (of ski shop fame) was in that band, or one of the bands that played over the course of several years. He may well have been the drummer. We gals used to pay IslandAL of this Forum to drive us to the Weirs (before we could legally drive), and we gave him the hefty sum of one quarter each.  Met lots of interesting people at those dances, some of whom I still know to this day.

After Teen Haven closed we would go down to the place at the end of the pier. That place had bands from all over the country. I would stand right in front of the band. I am surprised that my hearing is still good. Can anyone remember the name of the place? The miniature golf place was under the pier so we would often play golf also.
