I was in Merrymeeting cove on the 13th of Feb. and was surprised to see water approaching the beach I thought it was kind of early. and at the boat ramp in Peggy's cove it looked kind of soft. perhaps that is why there was only one truck on the ice in that area. A year ago there was forty or fifty trucks on the ice. Gee and my boat was sitting on the pad and had no snow on it. It's getting to look a lot like spring all around the lake, with a dab of water here, and a dab of water there oh we'll all be boating soon.
