The Alton Parks and Rec dept has scheduled a 2/27/2010 "Full Moon" hike up Pine Mt. on the Evelyn H. & Albert D. Morse, Sr. Preserve. See:

The Morse Preserve trail head is about 300' south of the town forest parking area on Avery Hill Road. Use the town forest parking and then walk down and across the road to the Morse trail head.

This was the view from the top of Pine Mt. on 1/27/2010. The hike is fairly easy and the view is great.
