Probably going to cancel the trip. The lack of snow cover and and the warm conditions' impact on the ice pack argue for not taking chances. I've a lot of experience through the seasons with the Cattle Landing area and while it's probably safe enough for me and my family, I'm less eager to take chances with someone else's kids. Thanks for the thoughts.
