Yep, many just drill a 1/4" hole in the plastic discharge pipe going to the leach field in the liquid tank and let it drain back into the tank leaving the pipe dry. Usually the most that comes back is less than 5 gallons, but that depends on the length of the pipe. Yes it does come out during the pumping cycle, but it doesn't increase the time to pump down hardly it all.
