The commissioner was fired today. Not for DWI. But for refusing to take the breathalizer test.
I don't get it. The Gov said "
he's innocent until proven guilty, so I can't fire him for DWI. I can only fire him because he refused the breathalizer test". Gov, are you saying the cops were wrong in arresting him -- because until he's convicted, he hasn't done anything wrong? Sorry, Gov, not in my book. I wouldn't wait around till he got off on a technicality, keeping him on the payroll for a few years. Be decisive, and get rid of him for the DWI. It's time to start reducing the payroll.
