Well, it could happen.
here's a picture of an ice hotel that claims to be the first and largest ice hotel in the world.


ANd I found another ice hotel in Canada:


Then there is an ice SAUNA and ice bar in Sweden


So my guess is that it is possible to have an ice bar, ice motel or even an ice sauna in the Lakes Region. With our weather I would expect it to be on a much smaller scale than those in the pictures. Where did you hear about this?
