All us Winni folk, [including full timers] have learned to keep some sort of foul weather gear handy... In fact, truth be known, [No pictures I hope], I have dawned my snowmobile suit while out in about in the boat before ice out! Just to give the boat a lap of fresh Winni water and to get the cobwebs off'in er.

I retired and of late spend some time in Dallas/Fort Worth Texas, and just happened to bring some good O'l Yankee engineuity with that has served me well as well. Now, spring time in Texas, [ being in the tornado belt] can be very volatile and will drop grapefruit sized hail on you're butt if you should happen to lay down for it...
Long story short. Lake Winnipesaukee taught me at a very young age how not to venture out [without my pants up], so to speak, and even though NH and Texas doesn't have a helmet law, and I had to replace my high school shoulder pads to ware with my snowmobile helmet in defence from the hail. You ott'er see some of the looks I get from Texan's, on occasional location.
