If channel depth is the only reason they do not accept you & you only need 2 feet then why wouldn't they accept you. They must have at least 2 feet or more otherwise none of the renters would get in and out. I don't know of any stern drives that draft less than 2 feet. Most are 33'' to 36", right around 3 feet.
