That was indeed quite a storm. One of the homeowners I work for have some friends staying at their lake house on Long Island and they called me this morning to report that the kayak disappeared sometime last night. It was pretty well bungied down but knowing how normal weather can be in that area never mind a storm like this one it doesn't surprise that the bungies broke.
So, if anybody see's a yellow tandom kayak (brand ?) ( no paddles) drifting around the shoreline of the Captains Walk area it may well be the one. I would recognize it if I saw it.

Update: Kayak has been located 3 houses away. It is now back where it belongs.
