I think a comment and a dissatisfaction with a $1.00 bread charge per person is a perfectly legitimate negative comment.

In this country, charging for bread has been most unusual until relatively recently and this trend has been noted in a lot of urban areas.

Although I certainly am empathetic to the restaurant business, this charge is, in my opinion, not the usual in our area and is similar to charging for luggage on airlines and the like.

Pointing it out to the forum is helpful and people can decide for themselves whether this matters to them or not.
