Would'nt gold bars be too heavy to move too far in a lake? I love old legends like this one, it must have some truth to it. My father used to tell of a hidden pirate treasure in Lynnfield/Saugus MA. that he heard of when he was a kid in the nineteen thirties. Always wondered if there was any truth to it.
